'Our intention is simple: Discipleship and Mission
In other words, we aim to make, train and release followers of Jesus to be effective in extending God's Kingdom through acts of service, love and power. We committed to mentoring and equipping followers of Jesus to become all that are God has called them to be. Whoever you are and whatever your past we hope that you will give us the privilege of walking with you towards God.'
Nick & Marjorie Allan - Church Leaders

The King's Centre's vision is under-girded by a number of significant values:

The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, written word of God and we seek to read it, meditate on it, and for our lives to be transformed as we live out its teachings.

Worship

We believe that our highest calling is to worship God in word and action. We aim to communicate this through the love and devotion expressed in our music and creative arts and embodied in the way that we live our lives.

Prayer

Our desire is to see a church that is constantly under-girded by prayer, in its many forms. We see that Jesus modelled the necessity of prayer and we want to be likeHim in this.

Ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit

We aim to be dependent upon the work of the Spirit, in every aspect of the church’s life.

Prophetic

We listen to God. We highly value the prophetic and we want to give it room to develop, under supervision. Prophecy will be expressed in the very way we do our ministries as well as through individuals, in prayer ministry or in corporate worship.

Character

We believe as followers of Jesus we are called to reflect His nature and character in the way we live our lives, growing in the fruits of the Spirit and becoming mature, so that we ‘live a life worthy of the calling we have received’ (Eph 4:1)

Leadership

We acknowledge appointed leaders, as well as releasing whole body ministry whenever appropriate.

Service

Jesus came to serve, not to be served (Mt 20:28) and we want to follow his example both within the church and beyond it, learning ‘to love your neighbour as yourself’ (Mt22: 39).  We try to be a generous and compassionate people.

Reaching Out

While we value our strong sense of community and family., we are committed to developing new ways of expressing the Father’s love out into our communities and city.  Our heart is to see lives being transformed.
