Who we are

The King's Centre is a growing, welcoming and dynamic church. We aim to be an open-hearted community, where together we can encounter God and as a result make a genuine difference to the society and city we all live in.

Our age profile is mixed, with plenty of singles and young families. We are committed to children and youth, with trained staff especially for them. But if you’re a little older then don’t worry – you won’t be alone and we value and benefit from all ages!

We are part of a wider Sheffield based missionary church, with a shared vision to 'call our city back to God'. In addition to the King's Centre (KC) based in Nether Edge, we have a campus in Upperthorpe (off Infirmary Road) where St Thomas' Church Philadelphia has its base.

We also have strong links with other local churches across Sheffield and are members of the Evangelical Alliance, which means that we subscribe to their Statement of Faith, along with all the historic creeds of the world-wide church.

The church is recognised in law, and is held accountable by a charitable trust and a group of Trustees, registered no: 1088932
